Mohammed Kaliisa
BOARD CHAIRMAN
Mr. Mohammed Kaliisa is an experienced Executive Supervisor and aaction oriented ooperator with over 25 years of successful technical and practical experience in Executive Management, Business Development, Management & ICT Consulting. He is specialized in the fields of Strategic & Technical Leadership, Business Processing & Administration, Operations Supervision, Investment Banking, Corporate Strategy, Public Private Partnerships and Strategic Negotiation.
He holds an MBA in International Business Administration from Washington University a Bachelor’s in Social Work and Social Administration, coupled with Professional certification Courses such as: Canadian Investment Securities and Brokerage Courses in Finance and Insurance of Toronto-Canada, and with Certified Banking and Finance Courses from London, UK.
Mohammed has taken a number of lead roles such as the Chief Executive Officer of Acacia Energy Holdings (a Consortium of Oil & Gas Companies), President & Managing Director of Bankshire Technologies Limited, President and Chief Executive Officer of RE/MAX Regional Office in Uganda and previously worked with reputable organizations such as ING Finance in Toronto Canada, Dubai International Bank in Nairobi Kenya, and Greenland Bank Limited.
He also splits his time chairing on several boards such as Director Uganda Capital Markets Authority (CMA), Director Uganda Chamber of Commerce & Industry (UNCCI), Director Grand Petroleum Uganda, President Japan Africa Business Forum (JAB), and Director Soliton Telmec Uganda
Abubaker Luwaga
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Founder of Cayman Consults in October 2000. He has over 20 years’ experience with large trading companies in various industries, in different positions that have empowered him to be an all-round business leader.
With a BCOM degree, Abubaker has attended several courses including an advanced certificate course in Public Private Partnerships, Value Chain Development and is steadily adding business skills and business training to his technical background.
Abubaker has worked as a Local economic Development consultant at Ministry of Local Government. As a focal person of LFI-U at the Ministry, Abubaker was involved in connecting international development organizations and donors to available projects in order to enable capital flows and technical support.
As CEO at Cayman Consults, Abubaker is in-charge of managing the firm’s client engagements with experience in managing teams in over 8 countries in Africa.
Karim Kaliisa
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR
Karim as a Business Development Manager brings to Cayman Consults 22 years’ experience of business management with excellent results in NGO and MEDIA Administration, Executive Management, Diplomacy, International Business relations Management Consulting, Media Entrepreneurship and Information Communication Technology.
Besides being on the Board of Cayman, Karim is also on the board of Next Media Services, the leading media conglomerate and Managing Director of Salam Television.
Damalie. K .Mukiibi
HUMAN RESOURCE LEAD CONSULTANT
Damalie .K. Mukiibi is currently our Human Resource lead Consultant at Cayman Consults. She has 18 years of Management experience in Banking and Financial services in emerging markets, with a proven record on Small & Medium sized business, Women in Business Programs, Business Mentorship and Human Resource Management.
She brings a wealth of experience to the team having previously served as Head of Retail Banking and Head of Human Resource at Orient Bank, Head of SME & Women in Business at DFCU Bank, Managed and headed the high value customer segment at DFCU & Standard Chartered Banks respectively together with being a retail Manager at Barclays bank.
Drake Edward Kayondo
CHIEF TECHNICAL OFFICER
As company CTO, Drake adds his vast experience in Information Technology to the Cayman Team. A Systems and Business Analyst by profession with a Degree in Information Systems from Makerere University, he is responsible for studying the latest IT trends on the global market and incorporating some of those thought fit into the Cayman business model.
This has brought about continued re-invention and evolution of Cayman’s IT department which in return has kept us at the forefront of technological advancement in the Business Support Services and HR solutions industry in the region.
David Katongole
CHIEF OPERATIONS OFFICER
David has been with Cayman Consults over a period of 12 years. He has developed skills and training that have helped him rise to the Position of COO. He is tasked with leading the team in creating efficiency of operations to support our clients in over 8 countries that Cayman has operated in.
He has demonstrated steady skills in navigating the Landscape to create seamless support solutions for Company Incorporation, Visa Support Services, work permit processing, on boarding support and Labour Externalization.
Mariam Namirembe
PAYROLL ACCOUNTS MANAGER
We are proud of the clients that we handle in our Payroll Management Unit. With a Current payroll of over 200 staff spread in 5 countries in Africa and a monthly payroll of over USD 800,000, Mariam is tasked with delivering quick turnaround of all payroll related issues so as to meet our Client Service Level agreements.
Since joining Cayman Consults in 2014 with a degree in Procurement and Logistics Management, Mariam has demonstrated ability to add new skills, attention to detail and trust, key attributes that have put her in her current position as the head of the Payroll Unit.
Shadiah Nassozi
CLIENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGER
Starting as a Call center agent at Cayman Consults in 2016, Shadiah has risen to her present role as head of our Customer relationship management team. A graduate in procurement and supply chain management, she is tasked to ensure the retention of our customers through providing added value to their customer experience.
Her team supports our Payroll Management Unit to ensure that staff placed on behalf of our clients have all their issues relating to contracting, Payroll and time sheet queries resolved in addition to following up on cases, asking for feedback, and keeping track of all necessary documentation related to our customer interactions.
